Iggy

Iggy boy — the greatest, smartest, larger-than-life dog we’ve ever owned. You brightened every room you entered. Even though you didn’t like strangers, somehow, with your big personality, you always found a way to make everyone fall in love with you.

That little body of yours never defined you. Our little protector, you knew how to set your boundaries and always communicated exactly what you wanted. You never gave up — whether it was asking for treats, waiting for us to come home, or loving us with your whole heart.

We know that in this lifetime, we will never find another dog like you. You are one in a million, my boy. You were our favorite hello and our hardest goodbye. We know your heart wasn’t ready to let go, but your body was telling you otherwise. Making this decision was the hardest thing we’ve ever done, yet it was the greatest act of love we could give you, one last time.

We hope you’re happy, running free and having so much fun in heaven. We love you more than words could ever express and will love you forever.
